1:1 Pilates Sessions: £60 (1 hour)
During your 1:1 Pilates Assessment and Induction a thorough musculoskeletal assessment will be carried out and we will set functional goals that you would like to achieve from your sessions. This could include anything from walking around the supermarket to do your weekly shop after your total knee replacement to returning to club football, netball or hockey after an ankle injury.
A personalised treatment plan of Pilates-based rehabilitation exercises will then be devised to help you work towards your goals. You will be started at the appropriate level of each exercise based on your pain, function, ability and any condition(s) that you may have.
You will be progressed at your own ability level, pace and fitness level throughout the sessions and a range of small equipment may be used such as resistance bands, balls, magic circles and balance pads appropriate to your goals and needs. A combination of demonstration, tactile (hands-on) queuing, verbal queuing and/or visual imagery will be used based on your preferred learning style(s) to help you perform the exercises effectively and to the best of your ability.
